Today's song is from up and coming group Old Dominion. On October 7, 2014 Old Dominion released their self titled EP with 6 tracks on it. The second track on that EP was the song that really put Old Dominion on the map, and that song was "Break Up With Him". The success from this song got them national AirPlay, national recognition as a band, and the ability to go out and open up for big acts. Like they did with Kenny Chesney this past summer.

Brad Tursi, the guitar player, recently celebrated a number 1 hit for a song he wrote called
"A Guy Walks Into a Bar" performed by Tyler Farr. Tursi and Old Dominion front man Matthew Ramsey both had a hand in writing another big hit "Save It for a Rainy Day" performed by the great Kenny Chesney. Ramsey and guitar/keyboard player Trevor Rosen wrote Dierks Bentley's "Say You Do". Another one you guys should know that Trevor Rosen had a part in writing was the song "Sangria" performed by Blake Shelton. All of these four songs that Old Dominion has had a hand in writing have hit number 1 on the US Country Airplay Charts.

The Song of the Day "Said Nobody" is the number 4 track off Old Dominions first full studio album Meat and Candy. I was listening to the album, randomly shuffling through the songs and I found this one. The guitar riffs slowly baited me in at the beginning, then at the chorus the guitar just had me hooked. Its a real good feel good song that's all about the things "nobody" ever says, like "Don't come any closer. Don't give me a kiss, 'cause I don't wanna taste your lips. Said nobody. Said No Body Ever."
